Virtual Panel Discussion Brings Together Female Leaders in the Concrete Construction Industry

The Women in Concrete Alliance (WICA) seeks to connect women in the concrete construction industry. On Sept. 23, more than 100 female leaders gathered for a WICA virtual panel discussion to share their passion and experiences that have made them extraordinary leaders.
The panelists and attendees shared best practices while navigating unique challenges women face in a professional career such as work/life balance pre- and post-pandemic, establishing yourself in the workplace, handling trials with grace, and more.
The esteemed panel included Katharine E. Morgan, President of ASTM International, Amy Brooks, Chief Operating Officer of Castle Rock Construction Company and Jamie Gentoso, P.E., CEO for the US Cement organization of LafargeHolcim.
